I have the same issue too, testing with 1k and 2k textures, the application freezes about 5-7 secs continually and it responds again. It usually happens in the city of arx or before entering the tavern, the human outpost or locations full of textures, npcs or entities, walk long distances and visiting areas, even this issue is in vanilla. Maybe it could be caused by recent changes in memory usage

Hi, could you please help us narrow down the issue:

- does the issue occur on all levels and all the time? - which snapshot version are you using that doesn't show the issue - what do you have vsync and fps limit set to? - please press F11 twice in game to get a framerate graph and then take a screenshot of that after the issue occurs

- with modded textures please monitor the VRAM usage - arx fatalist will load all textures into VRAM on level load so if that doesn't fit then there might be issues

Possibly related to Bug report 1276 - Am Shaegar cutted walk animation/camera movement since 2018-10-16 snapshot.

I'm using the vanilla game without HD textures at all and the freezes happen in any level so far (tried Arx City and the previous zone with the tavern and goblin hideout). Here is a screenshot of what the grap shows when it freezes.

I'm not using vsync (but I have nvidia fastsync turned on) and unlimited framerrate.

The snapshot version I'm using that doesn't have this issue is arx-libertatis-1.2-dev-2018-10-31-windows. Haven't tried the one from 12-09 yet.

Ok tried the last snapshot (arx-libertatis-1.2-dev-2018-12-09-windows) and is still ocurring

For comparison sake here is the graph with the game running as intended with the -arx-libertatis-1.2-dev-2018-10-31-windows- snapshot. (the frame drop is because I made a quicksave)
