Issue description
Hi there,

Whenever I start a new game, my screen just Turns Black. I can still hear sounds, walk around, etc. But no video output smileys/4.png

With v1.12 Rhaa Movis, I did not have this issue...

The log does log say anything, since the application does not crash.

Here are some renedering specs from the log:

I OpenGLRenderer:110 Using OpenGL 4.6.0 - Build 27.20.100.9316 I OpenGLRenderer:113 ├─ Vendor: Intel I OpenGLRenderer:116 ├─ Device: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics I OpenGLRenderer:183 └─ VRAM: (unknown)
Steps to reproduce this issue
Whenever I start a new game

Please try lowering the video and render settings to see if that helps. In particular, try setting "Alpha Cutout AA" to "Disabled" or "Fuzzy" since "Crisp" is known to cause problems with some Intel drivers and already disabled for older Intel hardware where it causes crashes. Let me know which setting is causing problems so that I can add it to the blacklist for your GPU.

If that doesn't help, please post the FULL log.

Thanks, I have added an override to not use this feature for Intel Xe graphics so it should work out of the box with the next Arx Libertatis release.

The issue was updated with the following change(s):
  • The custom field Fixed in has been updated, from Unknown to Arx Libertatis 1.3.
  • This issue has been closed
  • The status has been updated, from New to Fixed.
  • The resolution has been updated, from Not determined to RESOLVED.
  • This issue's progression has been updated to 100 percent completed.
