Issue description
In limited locations, when invisible among hostiles aware of your presence (not sneaking), the game lags tremendously. However I've only encountered this in two locations:

1] Snake Women (level 6). Permanently hostile since I entered via level 4 and stole pretty much everything I could. Lag worsens the more NPCs become alerted to your presence.

2] Ylsid fortress on level 4, iirc (not 100%). I was sneaking around as a level 4 character.
Steps to reproduce this issue

Do you have a save file where this can be easily reproduced? (iirc you need to create an account to upload files here, or upload it somewhere else and I can attach it for you)

Also, I assume this is with AL 1.1.2?

Try walking - simply looking around does not trigger any lag.

Resolved by optimizing pathfinder node lookup. There's still the matter of detached nodes/node groups but it shouldn't cause any performance issues now.

The issue was updated with the following change(s):
